Nu-Air® ALL TERRAIN (AT) TIRES - Solid Telehandler Tires
Nu-Air® All Terrain tires are best-suited for hard, abrasive surface applications like asphalt, cement and concrete as well as for moderate off-road operations. They can be used on any terrains - both on and off-road - and are great for operations that involve changing landscapes as the tires are versatile and do not need to be switched out during an operation.
Nu-Air® AT tires are designed on McLaren’s hybrid, cutting-edge Semi-Pneumatic Technology. AT tires are a hybrid of solid and pneumatic tires. Not only are the tires as strong and durable as a typical solid rubber tire but they offer a cushioned, smooth ride like a traditional pneumatic tire.
Features and Benefits of Nu-Air® All Terrain Tires
- Tough, Durable Rubber
All Terrain tires for telehandlers feature layers of tough, puncture-resistant rubber, made from advanced rubber compounds. This gives the tires 3 to 5 times more service life than pneumatic tires. The possibility of getting a flat is completely eliminated due to the resiliency and toughness of the rubber. The possibility of equipment downtime as a result of flats is removed, significantly boosting productivity on your telehandler operations.
- Minimized Vibration and Reduced Bouncing
AT tires have multiple apertures on their sidewalls for maximizing shock absorption. This minimizes vibration and drastically reduces the bouncing effect as you operate your telehandler. This not only translates to a smoother ride for the telehandler operator but also protects the undercarriage of the telehandler from mechanical wear and damage.
- Wide Footprint Design
AT tires offer a wider footprint than the average telehandler tire. The wider footprint translates to an increase in the telehandler’s ground contact surface area. This, in turn, reduces ground pressure and increases flotation and traction.
- Range of Sizes Available
McLaren’s All Terrain tires come in the following sizes:
